How does GirlAndStories work?

Upload one clear selfie, choose one or more portrait styles and enter your email. After one secure payment, you will arrive on a private order page where each portrait appears as soon as it is ready.

Do I need an account or subscription?

No. There are no accounts, credits, tokens or subscriptions. Each order is a separate one-time payment, with no automatic renewals.

What kind of selfie should I upload?

Use a sharp, colour photo with good lighting. Face the camera, keep your face uncovered and make sure no one else is in the frame. Avoid sunglasses, hats, heavy filters and blurry photos.

How long does it take?

Most portraits are ready in a few minutes. During busy periods it can take a little longer. Your private order page updates automatically as the images arrive.

Will the portraits really look like me?

We use your selfie to preserve your recognisable features while changing the setting, styling and mood. Results can vary slightly because every portrait is newly created, but a clear front-facing selfie gives the strongest likeness.

How do I get my portraits?

We send your private order link to the email entered at checkout. Open a portrait to view it full size, then choose Download. On a phone, you can also press and hold the image to save it.

How long are my results available?

Your portraits are stored for 14 days from order creation. The exact expiry date appears on your order page, so please download your favourites before then.

I cannot find my order email. What should I do?

Check your Spam, Junk and Promotions folders first. You can also use “Find my order” and verify the email used at checkout to recover every active order.

Can I request a refund?

Refunds are available when a technical failure prevents the service from being delivered. If your order did not generate correctly, contact support with your order number so we can investigate.

Are my photos private?

Your results are accessed through a unique private link and are kept for a limited period. We use your uploaded photo only to fulfil your order and do not use it to train AI models.
