Payment & refunds

1. About this policy

This page explains payment, cancellation and refund terms for GirlAndStories. By paying for an order, you also accept our Terms of service and Privacy policy.

2. What you are purchasing

You purchase a one-time service that creates digital portraits from your uploaded photograph in the styles you select. The final price is shown before checkout. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.

3. Payment

  • Prices are shown and charged in US dollars (USD) unless checkout clearly states otherwise.
  • Payments are temporarily unavailable during our preview period. You may complete the order form so we can measure interest, but no payment method will be requested, no charge will be made and portrait generation will not begin.
  • When checkout is enabled, payment will be handled by the provider shown at checkout. Available methods and any provider-side currency conversion will be disclosed there.
  • An order is paid only after the provider confirms successful payment. Generation then begins and the private order page becomes available.

4. Cancellations and refunds

  • Before payment is completed, you may stop checkout without charge.
  • When payments are enabled, you may request cancellation before portrait generation begins.
  • Because this is a personalised digital service that begins shortly after payment, cancellation may not be possible after generation starts, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
  • If a technical failure on our side prevents delivery, we may retry generation, provide replacement outputs or issue an appropriate refund.
  • Mandatory consumer rights, including any rights relating to defective or non-conforming digital services, remain unaffected.
  • To request a review, email [email protected] with your order number, the issue and, where relevant, proof of payment. We normally respond within 10 business days.

5. Payment security

When payments are enabled, complete card details will be submitted directly to the payment provider and will not be stored by GirlAndStories. Review the provider information presented at checkout before paying.
